Claydon drilling in Lithuania

This week Claydon have been drilling oilseed rape near Kaunas in Lithuania with the Hybrid T4.

This is the first demonstration of Claydon machines with new importer DOJUS, who import into Lithuania, Latvia, Belarus and  Kaliningrad.

The front tine on the 4m trailed drill was set at 130mm depth, with oilseed rape being sown at a rate of 3kg /ha, with 200kg fert.

Conditions in the field have been excellent, with the front tine creating the pefect aerated moist, crumbly tilth which should get seeds germinating fast.
