The Claydon Hybrid is the latest Claydon drill to incorporate The Claydon Patented Sowing Technology.
The fully mounted hybrid is the product of over a decade of direct seed drill development and has become a revolution to The Claydon philosophy and is proving incredibly popular across all soil types throughout The UK and Europe.
Hybrid drills use benifit from over a decade of development and encorporate the best bits from older models as well as some great new ideas.
- Centrally-mounted depth wheels give optimum seed depth and placement
- The ‘revolutionary’ Tungsten Carbide Long-Life Tine is incredibly cheap to run and allows minimal soil disturbance yet maximum effect
- Both shear bolt and hydraulic auto reset stone protection are available on the hybrid drill making it an option for those on stony ground
- High clearance tines allow trash to flow through the machine reducing potential blockages
- The light weight design means a 6m machine weighs just over 3 tonnes and the 4m machine weighs in at just over 2 tonnes reducing horse power requirements and causing less damage to your soil
- The fully mounted design is incredibly maneuverable
- On the 6 metre model the gull wing design allows for optimal contour following
- RDS Artemis Electronics are equipped with radar speed sensors giving mapping adjustment on the move
- 1.25 tonne hopper for usage of tonne bags without having to run out of seed before refilling.
